We had our first visitor of the year come from Cedine in Tennessee in January. They helped with painting, visiting, repairing, evangelizing and much more.
In May we celebrated Mothers' Day. Joanna, Pastor Leonel's wife, shared a good word. We gave small gifts to the mother with the most children, newest mother, youngest mother and oldest mother.
We gave out water filters that purifies the water 99.9% pure. Twenty families have received filters this year.
We celebrated the 15th birthday of three young ladies in April. We also had a youth group from Park Valley Church who held a Vacation Bible School for the week. It was a special time for all.
Mimmie Joe, a missionary nurse has been volunteering one day a week in the ministry. She volunteers at other ministries on the other days. She brings her own medicine and when there is a need for prescription medicine the ministry covers the cost. She brings invaluable service to the poor who are timid about visiting the local clinics where they are not always treated well or even provided medicines.
Come and be a part of the work here next year especially in building, evangelizing, teaching and much more.
